Requirements for Regular and Transfer Students
All seminarians enrolled in the Theology Division are ordinarily required to
complete the prescribed four-year course of full-time theological study. In
particular: all
seminarians are expected to pursue the Master of Divinity Degree.
Academically qualified seminarians are also eligible to pursue
the Master of Arts Degree during the course of their theological
studies at Saint Charles Seminary.
Transfer seminarians must ordinarily complete at least two years of full-time
study in the Theology Division before being eligible to receive the Master
of Divinity Degree and/or the Master of Arts Degree from Saint Charles Borromeo
Seminary.
Candidates for sacred orders are expected to fulfill all requirements for the
Master of Divinity Degree.
