A Growing Gap – Living and Forgotten Christian Roots in Europe and the United States.
This conference grew out of a critical discussion between the Christoph Cardinal Schönborn and George Weigel related to Weigel’s book The Cube and the Cathedral (Basic Books, 2005). I attended and participated in work group discussions, along with a group of approximately 65 international scholars and politicians, at the personal invitation of the Cardinal. The conference took place at his residence in Vienna, Austria from April 26 – 29, 2006.
