The
Office for Institutional Advancement shares in the fundamental
mission of Saint Charles Borromeo Seminary in forming Catholic
men for pastoral service in the Roman Catholic Priesthood.
Through the assistance of benefactors and donors for the support
of the
Seminary, the Office for Institutional Advancement joins in
the preparation of seminarians who will someday serve as Priests
of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia and other Archdioceses,
Dioceses,
and Religious Communities of Men.
The
Office for Institutional Advancement welcomes the financial stewardship
of all persons
for the Seminary. In addition, the Office
shares the commitment of Saint Charles Seminary to be a community
resource to the entire Church through nurturing support for
the academic and pastoral programs of the Religious Studies Division.
Finally, the Office for Institutional Advancement is charged
with the responsibility of communicating the mission of Saint
Charles
Seminary to the public. The Office is the representative voice
of Saint Charles Seminary to other dioceses and religious communities
and is dedicated to educating all people as to how the work
of God is being accomplished in our Seminary community.
The following Founded Scholarship Endowment Funds are held
in trust, and the income there from is used annually to provide
scholarship
assistance to seminarians who are in need of financial assistance
and who are studying for the Archdiocese of Philadelphia, unless
otherwise specified in the fund. For information on contributing
to any of these funds or on establishing a new fund, please
contact the Office for Institutional Advancement at 610.785.6231.
