He first professed vows in the religious congregation of the Oblates of Saint Francis de Sales in 1980 and was ordained to the priesthood in 1987.

Julia Lehman
CPI Project Manager
Julia joined The Catholic Preaching Institute in January 2025 to manage the Institute’s programs, as well as marketing and social communications efforts. She is a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Church and attends the Shrine of Our Lady of Czestochowa in Doylestown, Pennsylvania. Julia has three sisters and a Siberian Husky named Naya. She enjoys baking, cooking, painting and hiking with Naya in the summer.
We congratulate LAURA VERDI, the Managing Editor at CPI, on her retirement (8/31/25). Laura skillfully brought our digital commentary series to life and creatively managed the various elements of CPI’s website. The success of CPI, now and into the future, owes a great deal to Laura’s foundational work! We wish Laura all the best.
The CPI team also includes the many folks engaged in our programs: those who write for the commentary series, those who offer coaching in our mentoring cohorts, and (soon to come) those who present the lessons in our instructional videos.
